What is it?

Forás Éireann is a permanent conference of voluntary organisations which have come together for the purposes of consultation and joint action to assist and promote social, cultural and economic developments in Ireland.

To Whom It May Concern:

Forás Eireann will not be conducting any council meetings from May’10 until September’10. This decision was taken due to the current economic climate and as a result of the fall in the funds available for distribution by the council.

During the period of inactivity no grant applications will be considered or approved. The council will meet in September 2010 to review the situation and a further decision will be taken whether to resume normal activity at this time.
